Thank you pmarc
Thank you pmarc
(OP)
I just would like to have a special thread to recognize the tremendous contribution one of the members, namely here “pmarc” has on this forum and how pmarc goes well above and beyond on what is expected on a free public site in helping others in their specific problems and issues encountered in their daily work regarding this special language called GD&T.
If you were ever helped in your understanding of GD&T by pmarc postings or touched/impressed by his knowledge and, more important, his willingness to share his rich theoretical and practical understanding of this subject (ASME Y14.5 and ISO likewise) I would like you to replay with a “simple”: Thank you pmarc.
I hope the administrators of this site won’t delete this thread as I wrote it with the best intentions and with sincere and deep appreciation, respect and obligation to pmarc. (I understand the site has the star recognition points system, but I simply think it is not enough for his remarkable contribution and a special thread is, in this case, needed)
I would like to publically recognize his contribution before he decide to retire/ change the line of business/ elect to no longer came here due to other reasons or purely does not fit his needs anymore or whatever the case may be.
Thank you for your understanding
Ani
Therefore: Thank you pmarc
P.S. The last thread/posting that persuades me to write the text/above rows is included in this discussion:

Thank you sir. Curious what software does he use to make those arrows. My CAD software takes forever.

Thank you for the kind words but a bigger thank you for being active members of the community. It is not that I only offer help to people. Thanks to different questions/topics asked/started by you and other folks throughout the years I also learned a lot and am still going to.
pyromech,
Those arrows (as well as most of the pictures I authored and posted on this forum) were simply created in Powerpoint.
