Leach Kinetics Testing Question On Bottle Roll Tests

Leach Kinetics Testing Question On Bottle Roll Tests

(OP)
Hi,

I have a question about bottle roll tests. I dont have a roller but I do have 9 L glass jugs and a bench scale agitator.

To me that would achieve the same objective as a bottle roll test would. Would like to hear what you guys think?

I have tried to look for papers studying the statistics of the various testing methods but I had no luck.

My background is in Chemical Engineering, so while I am not quite familiar with specific "tried and tested" methods people use in the world of metallurgy, I know my reaction kinetics quite well. I'm actually trying to get bench scale data in order to model the reaction kinetics.

Thanks!

Actually another forum regarding the leach test is the mining forum454: Mining engineering.
