ELEVATOR LOAD AND SPECIFICATION, EMPTY WEIGH OF ELEVATOR

Dear everyone!
Do you have ELEVATOR LOAD AND SPECIFICATION, EMPTY WEIGH OF ELEVATOR?
and how we apply them correctly in our design building modeling? (such as Etabs, RSA, Midas,...)
Thank you in advance.

RE: ELEVATOR LOAD AND SPECIFICATION, EMPTY WEIGH OF ELEVATOR

Have you contacted Otis and/or thyssenkrupp? There are a zillion sizes and models, and besides why would you trust a bunch of random engineers when you could go right to the manufacturers?

RE: ELEVATOR LOAD AND SPECIFICATION, EMPTY WEIGH OF ELEVATOR

If you’re designing the structure supporting the elevator, the loads you need to account for are going to be way higher than the empty weight of the elevator. Depending on the elevator system, there might also be some pretty high lateral loads to account for. You should try to contact a design engineer that works for the manufacturer.
