Calculating Embossed stiffener depth

Calculating Embossed stiffener depth

Calculating Embossed stiffener depth

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to design a part out of Grade 1 Titanium sheet metal. The sheet metal is curved in an arch and the flat pattern is 8" by 32". The arc length of the arch when rolled would be around 8". In order to add stiffness to the arch, I plan on adding embossed stiffeners perpendicular to the length (running in the direction as the arc length). I am unable to find information that would give me a general guide line to the minimum depth of the embossed stiffener. I am able to find maximum depth but I want to ensure that depth of the stiffener is deep enough. If anyone can provide a general rule of thumb that would be great. Thank you.
