Hello all,
My main model is a static simulation with 2 part A is 3D solid Deformable and part B is 3D shell Descrete Rigid with step:
Step 1 bend part A
Step 2 Fix A at point P1 and P2 move part B to touch A.
I made the sub model for the center zone (Pic), I made BC for step 2 calculation could I make sub model for 3 surfaces and use result of step 2 to calculate. But result was not close with the main model.
So in submodeling, it need to make simulation both step? How to define contact for Submodel at contact surface of part 1 and 2?

When the global model works correct, then you have the contact in there and the deformations are results of the contact. Then you use those deformations and run a submodel of a region to get more accurate stresses and strains.
