Missing Part and Assembly definition in input file for v6.14 and v2016

Missing Part and Assembly definition in input file for v6.14 and v2016

(OP)
I've recently just switched to v6.14 and v2016 from v6.12.
One thing bugged me most is that parts and assembly cannot be defined in input files for the two newer versions.

I know there is an option saying that "Do not use parts and assemblies in input files".
But, I never toggle this.

Does anyone know how to add the part and assembly definition in input files for v6.14 and v2016?

Thank you very much!

RE: Missing Part and Assembly definition in input file for v6.14 and v2016

The default settings have not been changed in 6.14 or 2016 compared to 6.12. Your observation must be specific for your system. Maybe there is an environment variable defined, that changes that option permanently.

Okay. That make sense to me.
Do you know which environmental variable is related to this feature?
Thank you very much!

Search you computer for files named "abaqus_v6.env". Open each in an ASCII editor and check what commands are in there. You will recognize the command when you see it. With a # you can comment it out, save the file and make a test in a new A/CAE session.
