It is requested to suggest structural steel grades suitable for exposure to ambient temperature of -40 'C. What should be the minimum recommended value when tested for charpy V notch impact test at this temperature ?

Normally, the minimum is 15 ft-lbs or 20 Joules unless specified by a construction code or standard.
