RE: partlist templates

Did you have the partslist templates in a separate (parts list-) palette ?
- This sounds as if you drag from the history palette.

If Yes, did you setup the parts list palette ".pax" and store it somewhere server?

Then open that directory in a windows explorer and double click the .pax file.
It will start a new NX session ( native) but your next session will have that palette added.
- You can also in the running NX session go Preferences - Palettes - Open palette, then browse/select the pax file. ( Same result)

Tomas

Tomas,

I don't have a Pax file.

Previously I used the preferences-->palettes-->open directory as palette (atleast I think this was a long time ago)

For making the pax file, can I just cope a pax file and change the input? Is there a standard pax file for part-lists

Kind regards,

Lars

RE: partlist templates

Yes, you can have a special palette for tables.
same as in the other thread, it's controlled by a system variable UGII_TABLE_TEMPLATES ( in case you move your pax & templates from "D:\siemens\NX11.0\UGII\table_files" )
See example of .pax in D:\siemens\NX11.0\UGII\table_files
- It has a special type of classification, similar to this :
<ObjectData class="PartsListTemplate">

( side note: this palette is a bit inconsistent to the reuse library, but it works excellent.)

Regards,
Tomas
