Need help with Design Example Shear Wall from ACI 549.4R-13 (FRCM reinforced Masonry)

Need help with Design Example Shear Wall from ACI 549.4R-13 (FRCM reinforced Masonry)

(OP)
Dear All,

I'm currently exploring the possibilities of FRCM-reinforcement for masonry. In ACI 549.4R-13 there is a design example of a shear wall, however I'm having trouble finding the neutral axis of the shear wall and could really use some help.

On page 62 it says that the neutral axis depth is computed by establishing the equilibrium of the forces acting on the cross-section of the wall. By trials and errors, the following value of neutral axis depth is computed:
cIP = 45in

Could someone explain to me how this value is established, and show me the equilibrium scheme?
