What is the difference between Inconel 625 and Incoloy 825?
According to my research I found out the difference in composition as the first is Ni-Cr alloy and the second is Ni-Fe-Cr alloy. Thus, Inconel 625 has a better corrosion resistance than Incoloy 825.
The second difference is the temperature allowance as Inconel 625 can be used from cryogenic till 982 degrees Celsius while Incoloy 825 can withstand up till 540 degrees Celsius.
Am I correct? Are there any other differences between both metals?

RE: [b]What is the difference between I
825 is a high alloy stainless steel with better hot strength than corrosion resistance.
625 is an alloy designed for high strength at up to 1200F, though it can be used at higher temps.
There are many other similar grades to both of these, depending on your application.
