Nx Assembly automation

Hello all,

I am creating one customized master product assembly in Nx9. In Nx assembly there is a option to replace the component "replace component" Instead of replace the component I want to make it to automate the same. If there any possible to make automate to replace the component. please suggest.

Thanks & Regards

No. Actually I want to replace the part file in assembly, "replace component" Instead of going this option I want to make it into automated.

RE: Nx Assembly automation

How far do you want to have this automated?

Will it always be the same Part which is Replaced? and will it always be replaced with the same component?
If so I would say you can use Partfamilies for this.

Hi Ronald van,
Thanks for your response.
I want to use this tool long time. whenever need I want to replace different part.

RE: Nx Assembly automation

It can be either coded (NX open) or maybe PTS (product template studio) (needs license) could bring you some solutions.
