Rigid Body mass

Rigid Body mass

Rigid Body mass

(OP)
Dear all,

I have a rigid body and tried to include its mass into my modelling. I ran gravity load for the whole model (simple beam made of C3D8R). For Rigid body which is connected to the beam by surface-to-surface contact, I defined point mass using Interaction < Special <Point mass of 200 kg.
When I check the reactions at support (RF2) with and without inclusion of mass for rigid body, the results are same.

How can I include the mass of rigid body to be accounted for like the rest of the model (in other words, I need to consider the self-weight/dead load of rigid body).

Cheers,
