Fillet run out half way up an edge

Fillet run out half way up an edge

Fillet run out half way up an edge

(OP)
Hi All,

Using NX9 and I am trying to add a 0.19" fillet to an edge. Simple enough
However I want the fillet to run out at a certain point, I can make it stop dead but that leaves a square edge. I want to show it running out to imply cutter run out, if that makes sense.
Something like the attached picture.
Any ideas?

RE: Fillet run out half way up an edge

I see no quick fix to this.
I would have created the blend with the "dead stop" at where it should start to "move out" , then draw a trajectory curve and finally sweep the "square face" along the trajectory.

Regards,
Tomas

Hi Tomas,
Thanks- I will use this work around. I was hoping that something within the edge blend would have been available.
