Dry gas seal instead of segmented floating bushing in API plan 62 with steam quench in Sundyne Pump

Dry gas seal instead of segmented floating bushing in API plan 62 with steam quench in Sundyne Pump

(OP)
We have a naphtha sundyne pump LMV 322 in our plant. flushing plan is 31 (internal cyclone separator) & API plan 62 with steam quench to avoid cock formation in atmospheric side. My question is whether we can use sundyne non-contacting dry gas seal instead of using segmented floating bushing. Sundyne use single seal arrangement with a steam bushing for this case. Is it possible for us to change or not?
In summary, I want to know is there any problem if I use dry gas seal for API plan 62 with steam quench or not.

thank you
