Sequential analysis in ABAQUS

Sequential analysis in ABAQUS

Sequential analysis in ABAQUS

(OP)
Hi,

Let me describe my problem which I'm trying to simulate.

1. I'm doing a dynamic analysis for 1sec with 1e-2 as an increment time with displacements as an output for some nodes.
2. Now I want to do another dynamic analysis for the same duration and increment, with the same model but now I want to import the results from the previous results such that it should take the time varying displacements obtained from first analysis.

Is it possible ?

Thanks,
Pranoy Nair

RE: Sequential analysis in ABAQUS

Why don't you use two steps in your analysis?
