(OP)
Other than the AISC manual, specs, and commentary, does anyone have/know of good resources for designing steel plate girders? Application is for a long span in a building. Example projects are good, too. Thanks!

RE: Steel Plate Girder Resources

Caltrans is pretty good at plate girders: Link

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

RE: Steel Plate Girder Resources

An oldie but a goody is Blodgett's 'Design of Welded Structures': Link and at $25 for 832 pages - great value - with a great author (may he RIP).

It is not going to step you through the latest and greatest code clause checks, but good reference...never seems to collect dust on my bookshelf.

RE: Steel Plate Girder Resources

Omer Blodgett passed away not that long ago. He lived to the ripe old age of 99. Here's his obituary.
