How do you create a manual non-associative Balloon that touches a part on the drawing? I don't want it to update with all the other balloons on the drawing.

RE: NX 9 Creating Manual Balloons that doesn't update with Part List

If you attach a balloon leader to the edge of a component, it will update with information about that component.

Here's a work-around:
Create an associative point on the edge of interest and attach the ID symbol to the point rather than to the edge. The balloon will not update with the parts list as it is not pointing at a component, but it will update position if/when the view moves.

You can snap the arrow very close to the edge but not on the edge. - Zoom when you place the arrow.

Is there a good reason for this ?

Tomas
