how to convert an ANSYS workbench project file *.wbpj into an input file

how to convert an ANSYS workbench project file *.wbpj into an input file

(OP)
Hi all,

I would like to run optimization on a blow-moulding simulation, done in ANSYS WB, using a programming code, external to ANSYS WB. For this, I would like to know how to convert an ANSYS workbench project file *.wbpj into an input file, to be run on ANSYS Mechanical APDL. I have read some solutions about it, and I've tried them, but I guess they don't apply to the version I am using, or maybe the licence I am using: I am using ANSYS 18.1 academic associate.

Any help is appreciated,
Best regards,
AndradeSilva

In the tool bar: Tools, Write Input File. You will only get elements and nodes, no geometry.
