Piping Integral attachment

Piping Integral attachment

Dear Experts,

Hello again, regarding Integral attachment for piping like support shear lugs(welded to pipe), any specific NDT requirements for this welds according to ASME B31.3?

Regards,
Delikado

RE: Piping Integral attachment

Not specifically, other than what's required as default NDE method & percentage by the Code. Review 328.7 and 341.4.

-So the NDE percentage/requirement of the particular pipeline where it is attached, will also apply to this weld?
-What exactly does permanent nonstructural attachment means?
