Mooney rivlin and Prony shear response material model properties

(OP)
Hi all,

Currently I am working rubber material and will model the rubber behavior using ansys apdl. Based on literatures, for type of the rubber , the best material models are combination of mooney rivlin and prony shear response. As far I know, i need to do do curve fitting on stress strain data to obtain the material constant.I plan to perform simple shear test on the rubber and my questions;

1. Can I use the stress -strain data from simple shear test to perform curve fitting for mooney rivlin material model (3 parameters)?

2. Can i use the stress strain data form simple shear test to obtain prony shear response? if yes, how?

Thanks
