How to transfer Force Reactions from Fully Fixed Supports (at base of structure) to Foundations????

How to transfer Force Reactions from Fully Fixed Supports (at base of structure) to Foundations????

(OP)
Hi,

I have designed the superstructure of a 2-storey house (beams, columns, floor slabs) and now I want to design the foundations.
My structure is supported on fully fixed supports during the analysis of the superstructure.
In order to design the foundations i need to transfer the force reactions at the fully fixed supports (base of columns) to the foundations.

Which is the best way to achieve this?

Without knowing much about your structure, if you can change your supports to pinned you'll have a much easier time with foundation design. Also, you should post any relevant sketches/models/drawings to help people get a sense of what you're talking about.

What material are the columns? Sketch?
