Can I assign material property (EMOD, ENU) from inside UMAT without using the CAE property option?

Can I assign material property (EMOD, ENU) from inside UMAT without using the CAE property option?

(OP)
Fellow researchers,
I have a pondering question regarding the material property definition in UMAT. I would like to assign the material properties such as EMOD, ENU, SYIELD, HARD from inside the UMAT by directly assigning the values. For example, if my EMOD is 200e9 then instead of wrting EMOD= PROPS(1) using the property module, I would like to directly assign EMOD= 200e9. The solver doesn't take the second mode of assignment. Is there any way around this?

Regards,
Shufen
