DIN908 Plug

RE: DIN908 Plug

Yes, if the port you install it in matches the plug and you use a sealing washer. The thread is British Standard Parallel Pipe.

I notice there are 2 type of sealing washers i.e aluminum and copper.
If my port material is aluminum, can i use aluminum washer too?

RE: DIN908 Plug

I prefer a stainless steel washer with a bonded buna o-ring rather than a soft cu or al washer which must be crushed to seal.

thanks for your reply. Appreciate that.

RE: DIN908 Plug

If the company doesn't have it in stock you can alternatively use a DIN910.
This isnt the standard British thread Withworth Pipe Thread DIN/ISO 228, it is the 288 G thread.

Therefore to really seal, you need to use an o-ring, as mentioned above.
