Helical Gear in Catia V21

Helical Gear in Catia V21

Hi,

I have imported from NX a Catia stp. file.
I would like to create a fully parameterized Helical Gear using the current solid as a model, but I do not know how to do it.
In NX, I have used for this a Sweep feature:

How would you do this gear, using either Part Design (first option) or GSD workbenches?

Thanks!

P.S. I use Catia R21

RE: Helical Gear in Catia V21

try the sweep function in GSD or maybe Multi-Section Solid in PartDesign

RE: Helical Gear in Catia V21

If you already have the profile, try Explicit Sweep with Reference Surface, and use law to specify the rotation. Your profile should also be parametrized (and perhaps not a sketch...)
or perhaps multi-section-surface of two profiles, with closing points offset between those two?

regards,
LWolf
