FEA for Porous Media - Laminar Gas Flow?

FEA for Porous Media - Laminar Gas Flow?

(OP)
I'm looking for a FEA package that can model laminar flow through porous media - primarilarly gas, but possibly also liquid flow.  At the moment, I'm thinking that I might be able to use a low end application to run simple models, although I'm certainly aware that these assumptions can rapidly escalate.
Any suggestions?
Know anyone who's doing it?
Thanks,
Randall
PS. Alternately, know of anybody who could do porous flow modeling on a consulting basis?

RE: FEA for Porous Media - Laminar Gas Flow?

It depends on what info you want out at the end. There are a few FEA/CFD packages that I could recommend, but they all cost quite a lot.
