Maintenance Release install.

Maintenance Release install.

Maintenance Release install.

(OP)
I have been asked to load NX 10 on to a couple of our company's computers. I realize maintenance releases contain all previous maintenance packs.

My question is, do all maintenance releases contain all previous releases as well?

In other words, is it required to load each release in order, or can you simply load the most current?

Thank you for your replies.
Ken.

RE: Maintenance Release install.

It is my understanding that the latest MR contains all previous fixes as well as the new stuff.

RE: Maintenance Release install.

You can install the latest MR and its Maintenance packs. They are cumulative.

RE: Maintenance Release install.

By the way I would install only MR's and not any MP's unless you have a specific need which is addressed by an MP. MP's are not as nearly extensively tested as MR's.
