i want to know the minimum allowable deflection limit for cantilever built-up I section purlin in code mbma96? the purlin supports a panel.

Maximum deflection would be predicated on any surfaces below that would be damaged by the cantilever deflection. Is there anything below? Is vibration an issue?

Allowable deflections depend on the usage of the structure....
Usually codes do not give a limit....
