Programing question for the experts

(OP)
I am wondering if it is possible thru the use of SNAP or VB to do a file "save as" on an assembly component and keep all the parameters, links etc....... If it is indeed possible does anyone have a snippet of code explaining how to do it. thanks in advance for your help

RE: Programing question for the experts

A minor comment that's only vaguely related to your question ...

It doesn't really make sense to say "SNAP" or "VB".

SNAP isn't a programming language (like GRIP or KF). It's just a collection of functions that you can call from your programs, which have to be written in some language like VB or C#.

SNAP does have a "Save As" function, but don't know if it would do what you want.
