I can't seem to get design information for Vescom joists. I spoke with one of the owners and he said that he would send me literature. Never happened.

Does anyone have recent literature?

RE: Vescom Composite Joists

They appear to be conventional long span steel joists, with maybe a cold formed chord, top and bottom. They also appear to still be in business. Why are you selecting this particular manufacturer?

I am not selecting them. The property owner has some odd preference for them. Their preference may shift when they get the Hambro price.

I spoke to the owner of Vescom, so they are in business. They just seem to be oddly secretive and not used to engineers requesting their info. I think their typical business does not come from EOR's specifying their product. What I do know is they are not covered by SJI specifications, just like Hambro. They also do not have joist designations, which is odd too.
