Paste Special with associativity of the copied body

Hello,
Q: How do I copy a body and then paste with a link to that body I copied from.

How I would worked in Catia that had this function, I would start out with a simple body rep the stock.
As I progressed to op1 then op2 and so on I would do the copy>paste with link. That way If I needed to change something in op1 it would be seen in op2 on up. I need associativity when pasting.

Is this possible.

I am in 7.5 but will be moving to 10 soon.

RE: Paste Special with associativity of the copied body

When the 2 bodies need to be in two separate parts then Use the Wave Geometry Linker.
If they need to be in the same part then use Extracted Geometry.
