Our head sensor isn't working right. Has anyone ever cut everything out with the trace off just to keep cutting parts until the head is fixed?
What really sucks is our laser is only a little over a year old.

RE: Cutting everything with trace off FOM2 3015 nt

did u perform the head calibration? one time I bought a whole new cone and all I had to do was calibrate it not proud of that one lol, you can cut but u can crash ur laser pretty bad and cause bigger headaches, have you tested cone to see if its bad?

Cutting with trace off requires the material to be perfectly flat with no movement.
Also a necessatity that your slats are new.
Not really advisable unless absoloutley necessary.
Try recalibrating the head sensor.
I turn trace off, and run adjust head sensor on a piece of material. It will move towards the plate until it hits it. HS calibration is also corrected when you use clean the nozzle program.

Something was wrong in the head. The calibration test started to give us an error. Finally had Amada send someone in to fix it.
Thanks for the info on cutting with the trace off though.
