Code Interpretation ACI 318 5.6.3.3(a)

Code Interpretation ACI 318 5.6.3.3(a)

Code Interpretation ACI 318 5.6.3.3(a)

Hi. I just wanted to make sure that I am interpreting this section of the code right. According to part (b)no strength test falls below f'c by more than 500 psi when f'c = 5000 psi or less, or by 0.10fc when fc is more than 5000 psi. in order for it to be satisfactory

So I came up with 2 simple scenarios to double check if I understood right.

So for the first part ( 500 psi) *** let's say f'c= 2500 psi
Test 1 = 2000 psi is OK
Test 2= 1500 psi NOT OK

for the 10% part *** let's say f'c=5500
Test 1 4950 psi OK
Test 2 4400 NOT OK

are my assumptions okay?. Thank you
