Hi all,
I will to design a decanting tank will the next specs:
Outside Diameter= 3m
Heigth= 6.7m
Bottom= conic bottom with 45° to 60°
Support type= legs support
Operating Temperature= ambient
Operating pressure= athmosphere
Fluid service= slurry (Lime + water)
My question is , with this specs what is the code to design the tank, ASME BPVC div 1 or API code design or another that you could recomend?

For your small tank in this light duty, you should invoke API-650 for materials, joints and welding quality etc.
Make sure that you select a fabricator with API-650 experience (many, many people can fabricate these small tanks)
Pay attention to your preferred tank access and coatings. Suggest that you specify 3/16 inch minimum thickness.

Dont matter if my tank is supported by steel legs instead it is directly above the ground like the scope of API 650 says

Reading the complete scope of the API 620, I see that is the solution that I am looking for.
