The value of 'w' has been calculated as 1.366kN/mm.
Where 'w' is defined as "unit load (force per unit of circumferential length)" earlier in the Roarks text.
I take this to mean the load at say 45 degrees from the horizontal position would be simply a case of multiplying 'w' by the length of the arc from 0 degrees (horizontal) to 45degrees - approximately 45.2mm in this case giving ~62kN and at 90 degrees the Max load would be ~123kN?
