Locating Hybrid Part Bodies

Locating Hybrid Part Bodies

Locating Hybrid Part Bodies

(OP)
One of the customers I design for has asked me to change all the Hybrid Part Bodies to regular Part Bodies in my designs that are already complete.
I know that it is pretty much impossible to just change them, but most of the ones in my models are off the shelf items i can replace with non Hybrid Bodies.

What I would like to know is if there is a way to search large models to highlight just the Hybrid Part Bodies?
That way i know which details i need to replace. I am dealing with 1000+ part assemblies.

RE: Locating Hybrid Part Bodies

I suggest you make a script and run it in batch mode.

open each CATPart from directory (you manage this)

CODE --> sample

For Each mybody In mypart.Bodies

    If Not mybody.HybridShapes Is Nothing Then MsgBox ("hybrid")

next

I guess you will replace the msgbox with proper action....
