How to Prevent Assembly From Opening Children Parts

How to Prevent Assembly From Opening Children Parts

(OP)
Hello,

I'm working with a large assembly using Component Groups. My Assembly Load Options are set to:
  • Use Partial Loading
  • Use Lightweight Representations
  • Load Structure Only
When I load one of the Component Groups, NX physically opens some of (but not all) of the parts/subassemblies listed in the Component Group. As expected, if I then switch windows and close these parts, they close in the top level assembly as well.

How can I load a Component Group and its associated parts/subassemblies without actually opening them, and thus slowing down my computer? This seems to happen rather inconsistently, and sometimes works without opening them.

I'm using NX 8.5

Thanks!
