PDH vs CE Hours (PE and LEED AP)

PDH vs CE Hours (PE and LEED AP)

(OP)
I'm in my first year where I need to report PDH's to my state board. I am also LEED AP credentialed. My question is can I use PDH hours to also satisfy some of the CE hour requirements from GBCI/USGBC. Has anyone done this? My employer pays for my hours, but if I can double dip hours to save them money I'll try to do that instead. Any info would be helpful

RE: PDH vs CE Hours (PE and LEED AP)

Typically, the LEED oriented classes will produce a certificate that has GBCI LEED Continuing Education. If the class also give you credit toward your PE requirements, it should be ok.

Although, the LEED content is typically not very technical in nature and fairly easy to complete, I don't know there would be any cross over.

Your best bet is to contact your State Board. They have the final call.
