Anchor Force from Wallap Software

Anchor Force from Wallap Software

Anchor Force from Wallap Software

(OP)
I am analyzing an anchored wall using Wallap software. I entered the anchors' inclination as 20 degrees and after analyze, Wall gives me anchor force like 270kN. I want to know whether this force is the horizontal or inclined at 20 degrees?

Is there any need to divide this force by cos(20) in order to get the force in the inclined anchor?

If it needs to be divided by cos(20) to get the anchor force then what is the purpose of inputting anchor inclination?

please help.

RE: Anchor Force from Wallap Software

In the version I have access to the strut forces are given as the horizontal components (and it clearly states this in the output).

The purpose of the anchor inclination is that it affects the strut stiffness
