Is it possible to use a feature pattern's qty in a part family??

Is it possible to use a feature pattern's qty in a part family??

Is it possible to use a feature pattern's qty in a part family??

(OP)
Something I've done in other software packages but not yet in NX.... I have a component that I want to create a large part family for. The only difference in each dash number is the qty of 1 feature (see pic attached - each version is a different qty of pins).

Right now I add each pattern instance to the table & I suppress them if they are not needed. It created a very large table & I assume has a large file size.

What I want is ONE column to say QTY for the appropriate feature (then fill in pattern qty). I am dreaming with this right?!

RE: Is it possible to use a feature pattern's qty in a part family??

Yes you can.
All you need to do is find the expression name/number for the quantity and add that expression to your part family table.
In the Part navigator, there is a lower area "Details" , click the array feature, In the details area the "p323 or similar will be visible. You can also edit the value from there.

Tomas
