Workstation to work with CATIA

Workstation to work with CATIA

(OP)
I'm looking for a new Workstation to work with CATIA. I don't know much about workstations, I only use them.

I draw metal stamping dies progressive transfer in full parametric way, so this implies lot of memory from Workstation. The update time is really important. By the end of the project is quite normal that I need to wait 10 minutes, or more, for an update. It's huge! So I'm looking for a Workstation that can improve this.

Multiple processor or clock speed (as far as I know catia only supports one processor)?

Memory what do you think?

Any special characteristics?

RE: Workstation to work with CATIA

CATIA does not use many core so save your money here... if you're using 3DX I suggest you get big 4K screen (on win10), like 28" or bigger as menus (they are plenty of them) are all over the place (I'm working with Tubing, Elec, HVAC...). I was told we can put them on second screen but this is coming next week (the second screen) so I'll update the post after playing a bit with 2 screens.
