Kaolin pricing

Kaolin pricing

(OP)
Hello,
I own land near Sparta, georgia that has been tested for Kaolin and the company that has been testing has found one million tons of raw product that they want to mine. I currently have a contract that my father negotiated for $1.50 per ton of raw product and the company wants to renegotiate the contract to lower the price to $.55 cents per ton.

How can I talk to an expert that can advise me as to what the current price should be? I would really appreciate some help!
Thanks!

In my opinion you are the expert.  What is it worth to you?  You may want to contact a lawyer that deals with natural resources, but the bottom line is if you agree to their contract you will gain over 1/2 million dollars based on their evaluation.

If it was me I would want some money placed in escrow to restore the land after the mining operation is complete.

Congratulations you just won the lottery!!!  If you need a long lost cousin call me.
