part files iteration

(OP)
I'm running Proe/E 2001 on win 2000 (spk 2). I've just switched from NT 4.0 When I'm working on a part and then save the part few times I don't have that iteration number that I use to have when I ran pro/e on NT 4.0. Now all files have the same name, which is wired. There is any setup that I have to make?

RE: part files iteration

Windows 2000 explorer automatically hides file extensions for known file types.  Open windows explorer, pull down the 'tools' menu and go to 'folder options'  Switch to the 'view' tab, and uncheck the box for 'hide extensions for known file types.'
