Nastran SOL 101 contnuation if one load case fails (terminated)

hi,

I have a nastran bdf file with 10 load cases. Sometimes one of the load case fails due to exceeding maxratio. That leads stopping for all other load cases too.
Is there any way that if one of the loadcase fails then rest of the load cases are computed?

RE: Nastran SOL 101 contnuation if one load case fails (terminated)

Insert the parameter
PARAM,BAILOUT,-1

RE: Nastran SOL 101 contnuation if one load case fails (terminated)

Hi
You could also add the Bailout,-1 is not recommendet for "production" runs. It is intended for model testing.

It can produce erroneous results.

Hi Crostolo,
Hi ThomasH,

Thank you for your response. I am running optimization, in which, if one load case fail then I can skip it and extract the results of others. But the problem is, if one load case fail then whole run fails. bailout,-1 will give erroneous results, so that would not be the right solution.
I am looking for a solution something like, in which the erroneous loadcase will not give results but others do.

Farhat
