I'm working on pump station which is already designed, But i'm want to just verify the design manually or using a software, have you any idea how shall i start?

RE: Pump station control

Doesn't sound like you're ready to do it. Why not hire a pump station engineer.

Technology is stealing American jobs. Stop H1-Bs for robots.

RE: Pump station control

Verify which bit of the design exactly??

Very vague question so very vague response I'm afraid

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Hi BigInch

Hi LittleInch
i want to verify the diameter of pipes and the choice of pumps (cavitation and HMT ...).Infact, how can i know a station is correctly designed ?

RE: Pump station control

how can i know a station is correctly designed

What?!

RE: Pump station control

By employing competent designers / consultants and getting other consultants / experienced engineers to review / approve the design. Go and work for one of those and then you will learn how to do it.

I'd start by making a system curve and comparing against pump curves for the selected pumps.

RE: Pump station control

MFJ, I don't mean to sound unkind, but it seems like you might have to explain what those things are for the OP. Sorry for me being a bit cranky today.
