RE: How to do this with sheetmetal feature

Draw a centerline across, then use the bead feature. Lanced ends.

RE: How to do this with sheetmetal feature

Why you do not do it with sheet metal contour ?

RE: How to do this with sheetmetal feature

I have to say I´m a novice at sheetmetal.

My first attempt was Contour flange but an error message was displayed:

Now that you´ve said this I´ve tried again:

1Step:

2step:

3step:

4step: (make a contour flange without the last curve and then make a normal flange)
But I can´t set inside material!

workaround: (make fillets in the sketch)

Yes you right
it seems like a buggy
I tried it and it allow me to finishe half
of the profile only.

RE: How to do this with sheetmetal feature

That's a pretty ridiculous bug!
( I tried it in NX8.5 and, yes, it's a bug.)

Will you report it to GTAC ?

Regards,
Tomas
