Pink/Red Drawing Dimensions

Pink/Red Drawing Dimensions

Pink/Red Drawing Dimensions

(OP)
I am in the process of updating a drawing and have come across an issue.
Some of the details have changed shape, causing some of the dimensions to not be linked correctly.
Visually some look correct and some are obviously not pointing to the feature.

I can't tell if the dimension is still good or bad until i physically move the dimension, when i do this, they turn pink/red.
Since only some of the dimensions are bad, i have to move every dimension to see if it will turn pink/red.

Is there a way to scan the drawing and update the dimensions so that it will turn pink/red if it is in fact bad?
Please note, that this issue exists after i update the sheet, so a simple Update will not work.

RE: Pink/Red Drawing Dimensions

Search and select all dimensions (crtl f), then RMB on one of them and select “Restore Value Position”

I tried it out on a few dimensions, it "Restores the Position", but did not turn pink until i moved the dimension back to its correct location.
What is the purpose of the Restore Value Position command?

RE: Pink/Red Drawing Dimensions

jzecha,
I ran into same/similar situation only once.
I had some dimensions that were black, but obviously not correct.
After applying "restore value position" they turned pink.
I believe the command "centers" the dimensions between the extension lines into a default location.
Not sure why they aren't turning pink for you.
