Different deflections for slabs in a symmetric building in ETABS

Different deflections for slabs in a symmetric building in ETABS

Different deflections for slabs in a symmetric building in ETABS

(OP)
Hi

I'm modeling a symmetric building on ETABS for practice and I noticed that the higher the slab is the larger the deflection. I'm afraid that I have column shortening which results in cumulative deflections.

What can I do to check what is wrong ?

RE: Different deflections for slabs in a symmetric building in ETABS

Just model the slab on the correct elevation.
