Rivet sealers

(OP)
Hi.  I work for an oil terminal and we have 25 extremely old tanks with a riveted shell construction.  Several of the tanks have developed minor leaks around the rivet heads and we are looking for a way to stop these leaks.  The best way would be to take the tanks out of service and repair them from the inside, however this is probably not going to happen so I am trying to find an alternative.  Have you heard of any type of an external sealant that works well for this type of application?  My boss mentioned something called Red Hand, but I was wondering if there were other products available.  Thank you for your input.

Nicole
