Hello there,

I want to produce my boilers from SA 275 class 50, but all my calcylations are in SA 275 class 60. Does this mean I have to recalculate them all. Or is it possible to use the old calculations which are all approved by NoBo.

Many thanks in advance

RE: ASME material data

You may be hard pressed to build anything out of SA-275 since this is a MT examination procedure. However,as an AI or PED Inspector I would require you to resubmit calcs. if you want to lower a stress value. If you wanted to raise it,we could talk.
