Dear All ,

Pls. help me by answering my doubts :-

1) In CBR test there are 2nos. dial gauges. One is penetration gauge with marking from 0-100 with 10 divisions in each marking while other is load gauge with marking from 0-20 with 5 divisions in each marking. How to read these dials like to make penetration of 1mm & correspondent to its load reading ? Pls. also tell value of each division with unit.

2) in swell test , specimen is soaked for 96 hours(tripod) , initial & final reading is to be readed. Then how these readings are read & in which unit. Dial gauge is of which type with marking and divisions.
